4-Part (SATB) reduction, adapted for traditional mixed choirs while preserving the integrity of the original setting.
To reflect the dual nature of the Theotokos, both exalted and humble, I built the setting around an opening octave leap, suggesting her unique role as a bridge between heaven and earth. From there, the music settles into a more grounded space, balancing grace with simplicity and allowing both aspects of her identity to coexist naturally.
